I know it's random but it's been fun playing with these new-to-me materials. I love the precision of the sharpee pen. I love the freedom and cathartic quality of spray paint.
Here's the first one I did: "Man Down"
And here's the Second: "In the Grain"
Love to hear any feedback. Am a growing boy in this field.
Additionally, a new experiment was using Mod Podge - it's generally a lacquer that you paint on top of paper or canvas in order to protect it. I got the bright idea of using an eyedropper to drip down a thick raised glossy line - which it does beautifully and holds the shape without spilling all over the place (has the consistency of thick glue). So I used it to add a glossy veneer to the sharpee colored lines. I love the way it turned out and love the way it feels when you run your hands across the piece. "In the Grain" was a fun but highly labored process that tooks weeks. Compared to "Man Down" which was one killer afternoon.
Hope it generates some reaction in you. Thanks much.

I found just what I was neeedd, and it was entertaining!
